how do i tell when her crop is full?

The crop, when full, will be a round bump on the front of her neck.

Check a healthy chick after it has eaten a bunch, and you should feel it.

A vet can check for Coccidiosis.

I think using Corid for a "just in case" outbreak of Coccidiosis is safe enough.

how can i get her beak open? we can't get her to drink. i dip the tip of her beak into water and she shakes her head but doesn't drink

The most important thing to do right now is make sure she is hydrated...
it can save her life.
So get some water, preferably electrolyte water into her now.

Drop one drop on the tip of the beak at a time...she if that will get her to take it in...but not on the holes.

Take a toothpick, dip it into the warm water, then drip one drop onto the tip of her beak.

If she refuses to drink...she might be too far gone...sorry.

she's starting to open her mouth wide. is she gasping or trying to get more water? she started taking a tony bit of water.
