Chick fall

Hey everyone,
I am nearly done my silkie coop which is off the ground by 3ft what I'm worried about is when the chicks hatch if the chicks fall 3ft would it be safe ?

They will start trying to fly at about a week old. Make sure the brooder is escape proof and you won't have to worry.

I would put in a ramp of some sort for them to get in and out of the coop. Even as hen that is a big fall. Ours is only about 18 inches off the ground and we place a small porch and a step for them to get in and out easily.
