Chick feet...😬

I just brought these chicks home, they are under 2 weeks old. Most of their feet look terribly unhealthy. Can someone tell me what's going on here, what happened to them, and what to do?

One chick has healthy feet, I'll post that pic at the end, but the rest just look awful. These pics were taken after cleaning them up.

Overcrowding, pecking injuries caused by being crowded and bored. The first chick will lose that dark toe. Spray vetericyn on the feet twice a day or more if you can. If the chicks are pecking at feet, paint Blu-kote on the wounds with a Q-tip.

I don't have verticyn, I can look online to see if it's available. Can I use plain polysporin for now? I have gentian violet (blue kote kinda), should I just coat all their feet in that?

Gentian violet is fine, and so is polysporin, but the ointment may be a dirt magnet unless they are kept on clean towels or puppy pads.
