A nice lady got in touch with me though BYC site. She wanted fertile eggs to incubate for a classroom in Kansas City. I told her I didn't have any roos but I had another idea. I met a guy, Brian, that came over to give me a bid on some livestock fencing and he had mentioned that he had chickens and LOTS of roos. I told the school lady to call him and see if she could get some eggs from him. He gave her 24! Very nice man. She doesn't have a place to brood them so I am going to pick them up at the school after they hatch, brood them 6 weeks and take them back out to Brian. Full circle. I get to be a chick foster mom. Just goes to show you that chicken folks stick together!
