Hi, I’m a first time chick owner, I have COVID and have been resting and fatigued for multiple days, I still have COVID but wanted to check up on my chicks, I’ve noticed that one of them has became fat and a bit lazy at times, I will share photos but wanted to know if she is fat for a 5-6 week old chicken? And she always has a full crop and once I’m better I will exercise her more and lte her run around, I haven’t played with them as I have COVID but my sister has been giving them food and water. Maybe she’s over feeding them??

Do you have different breeds or all one? What are you feeding them? It looks like a normal chick from your pictures, but also keep in mind that different breeds can grow at very different rates and even chicks of the same breed can grow at different rates.

I’m not sure what breed but thanks for the reassurance!

I don’t believe she is. I think they don’t sell them where I got them, I got a eater egger if I’m correct.
She is not a meat bird, appears to be a rhode island red. She does not look fat. If she is only eatting starter I promise she is not fat. Would be a different story if you fed her lots of scratch, cracked corn, etc...
