Hi, I have some Americauna chicks that are 5 days old, they are eating a chick starter/grower feed, should I be mixing chick grit in with their food? If so at what ratio? Or should I offer it to them in a separate dish?

If you're just feeding them chick feed, they do not need any grit. If you want to offer treats that they will need grit for, you can offer it in a separate dish and they will take what they need.

They are only eating the starter feed, plus Sav a chick electrolytes and probiotics in their water. They seem just fine, should I just continue with what I have been doing?
