Hey, I went to check on my chickens this afternoon, as one of our hens is currently incubating eggs, and found one chick a small way away from the broody hen just left on the floor. The chick had no shell anywhere near it however its neck was stuck to its body by a soft part of the shell and it was peeping loudly.
I brought the chick inside and gently removed the shell part sticking its head to its body. However the chick is still in the fetal position and won't open its eyes.
I've been keeping it as warm as possible but don't know what else I can do,
Any suggestions?
