One of my chicks hatched in the last 15 mins. It took a little while to get out but not too long. It came out smaller than the others and quite wet. When I looked in the egg I saw quite a lot of jelly-like goo, which was attached to his vent by a slimy thread which detached as he moved away. I assume it is his yolk sack but none of it looks like actual insides. (Sorry for the poor photo quality) I'm keeping an eye on it, he is as lively as the others, wandering about and drying off. Generally he seems to be doing ok. Nothing s hanging out of his vent at all. Is there anything I should be worried about or do for him? Swift replies appreciated. Thank you!
