I just received an order of 20 Welsummers from McMurray, and they added these yellow chicks with a dark spot on top of the head (for added warmth).

Any guesses as to what they are?

The ones with black on the heads may be Delawares. The ones without black could be Leghorns.

    I'll be in the barn!
If you post in the What breed or gender is this? Forum there may be able to help you. As for telling a definitive gender, that'll have to wait till they're about 4-5 weeks. Yes, if they were added for extra warmth, the hatchery most likely threw roos in.
