This is my 2nd time actually incubating the chicken eggs, and during mid-incubation there were some humidity issues, none of the temps worked properly and it was a few days before I was able to fix it. I did 19 eggs, 4 weren't fertile and so far 9 hatched, 1 last night pipped but barely has progress, and 1 just hatched less than 30 min ago- it is also 4 days past the expected hatch date so I had to take the other chickens out last night because they were staying in there for too long and it was getting a little crowded. The newly hatched chick, rolled onto his back but couldn't fix himself so I had to tip the incubator slightly. Anyway, when he flipped back over I noticed that there was some blood by the rear of him and I have no idea why or what that is, it appears to drag along with him. The first area he lied down now has a bloody splotch in the incubator. Does anybody know whats wrong with him or if he's going to be okay?

Can you post a pic?
Sure, sorry for replying late.

Take him out, get near a bright light and take a clear picture of his underneath side.

There's not much you can do right now besides putting him on a clean paper towel by himself. By himself on the clean flat surface so there's no chance of scratching himself on anything or anyone pecking him.

Welcome to BYC!
I agree with Kiki, put him on a paper towel so the navel stays clean and doesn't get opened up more.
You can also mix up some electrolytes if you have any, soak a q-tip in the solution, and drip it along the sides of his beak. It will help perk him up after losing so much blood. Be careful though, not too much and do not get it in his nostrils. Don't force it either.
