chick losing feathers

    my chick is a light sussex and it is 9 weeks old and its feathers are falling off is his normal

    Chicks will moult 3 times before they gain their adult plumage.

    As the weather changes and the light time gets shorter it triggers a molt

    I've noticed my 12 week olds and 9 week olds have lost alot of feathers - but they still have alot of feathers - no bare patches. I figured it was normal at their ages.
