Chick mysteriously died!!??

I noticed my serama chick was acting really slow and constantly had his eyes closed....i found him dead this morning. he was over 2 months old.... i am concerned for the other two chicks that were with him.....

It could be many things, but at that age coccidiosis can be common. Symptoms include lethargy, hunched or pufed up posture, not eating, diarrhea--sometimes with blood,) and ruffled feathers. Corid (amprollium) is the best treatment, in the water for 5 days. Since seramas are tiny, they can suffer from being too cold and are prone to catching things from other birds. Keeping bedding dry, clean, keeping ammonia levels low and air circulation good can help. Only a necropsy can give you a cause of death, and one can be done by your state vet. Sorry for your loss.
 
ok thank you, i think i am going to get rid of the seramas because they are prone to dying and getting diseases!
