Hey guys so I heard one chick peeping in the egg when I candled it for lockdown and haven’t heard anything in 6-7 hours... is that normal?-Kim

Thanks so much!! All I can think is shrink wrap! Shrink wrap! Shrink wrap!... I am an Pediatric ICU nurse so I worry about EVERYTHING that could go wrong!

Should be perfectly fine. Completely normal for them to rest for hours. What temperature and humidity are you on and what has it been on during lockdown?

Unfortunately I don’t have a humidification probe.. I just added 1/2 cup water To the incubator before lockdown... had decent sized air sacs...

Oh and temp is 38 since incubation....
