    here are a couple of pix of 2 of my chickens...

    I was surprised at how tricky it is to get them to cooperate with me for a photo shoot...must keep practicing I guess.

    I will try again tomorrow, need to get some of their new flock mate anyway.

    my black Sex Link and Barred Rock chickens just after a game of keep-away with a raisin...the Sex Link won for a change, which could explain the look of resentment from the other one. (I haven't completely decided on names yet, which is why I refer to them so impersonally...)

    My Barred Rock...

    Both of them look like they are wearing leaky down jackets since they are growing into their big-chicken this second picture you can kind of see some of their last little tufty bits sticking out.

    Anyway, I hope to post more (and better) pix soon!

    btw, does anyone know if there is name for this variety of Old English chicken?
