I had some hatching problems with this last batch of chicks and I have one with a slightly splayed leg. I put on hobbles and made a chick playpen for it like the poultry podiatry recommended. The chick just hatched last night at 4pm so is less than a day old. I'm hoping I can correct the leg problem since it is very young and very healthy and active already. I'm not worried about food or water for it at the moment, just want it to get used to standing. Has anyone used one and if so, did you find that it worked? Pros/cons? Any advice or helpful tips?

This is the little on in the playpen now with my older 10 day old chick who has become the "brooder Mom"
