One of my chicks has been laying (roosting but on the floor?) since if to home from work about 4 hours ago. If I put my hand in the brooder she runs around with the others but keep going back and laying down in the same spot. I checked her vent and legs no issues that I can see. I will try to post a pic but it's being weird so I may not be able to. She doesn't seem in distress but the not moving is weird for her.

How old are the chicks? Could she be dehydrated or maybe injured her leg. Does she stand normally with both legs under her, and neither out to the side? I would make sure that she is drinking and eating, and put some SaveAChick electrolytes and vitamins into their water for a day or two.

She seems perky when I pick her up, she is awake she does look like she's brooding. She doesn't seem to be limping. Can everyone have the save a chick o do I need to isolate her to give it to her?

Well I checked on her this morning and she is still doing it but when I cleaned out food water etc she got up and ate some food and ran around then went and laid back there. She is very alert etc.
