1) Speckled Sussex, 5 weeks old, much lighter than the rest of the chicks we have
2) Sometimes she will act like she's drinking even if she's not, she will poop basically just water, she has spit up twice, and she doesn't seem to have any interest in chick food, although she will eat grass outside. She also acts tired sometimes.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? 2 days.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms? No.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. No.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. Drinking plenty and eating - but only grass, not chick feed although it is readily available to her. Grit has been supplied as well, and she eats that.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. VERY runny sometimes, practically water.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? None, except electrolytes.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Preferably treat her myself.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use. paper towels, with shelf liner on top, with pine shavings on top of that.
