Hi everyone!
This baby chick just hatched on Saturday and is walking around on one leg and keeps it curled up like this. I don’t know if it has curled toes or something else wrong. Any advice on him?

Can you see any sore spots on the foot or leg? Does it always keep the toes curled up? You may want to start some chick vitamins with riboflavin, such as SaveAChick, Poultry Cell, or human Polyvisol baby vitamins without iron.

I think he has straighten them a little bit. Would you recommend use the rubber band method on the legs? When it’s straightened, it doesn’t seem to bother him. Here’s an up close of the legs

I agree at trying the vitamins to see if they help.
To me, it looks like the chick has a swollen joint (?) Is that on both legs or just the one?
Could be slipped tendon which is hard to correct if at all.
