Just when you think you've seen it all. UGH
so I have a chick that I found in the coop yesterday. The moms hatched it but then just left it laying there. I think they helped the chick out of the egg too soon because I saw moms pecking at it earlier after it had pipped. I just let them be figuring they know what they are doing. I took the chick after finding it wet and alone and quickly realized it had splayed legs and curled toes. I brought it inside and made something to help its legs.
He was doing fine and I gave him some water with nutridrench in it. WELL then this morning I look at him and it seems all this neon yellow stuff was in the cup and a red liver shaped ORGAN.
WHAT IS THAT/GOING ON/WHY WOULD A FULLY ALIVE AND FINE CHICK SUDDENLY PASS AN ORGAN (is it an organ, what could it be)/ What is the yellow stuff?!?
I have a VERY strong stomach and this actually made me gag hard.
Any advice is appreciated xox
