Chick was injured not walking

I had my 4 week old chicks in a old dog crate in our pen, when I went to bring them in one has not able to stand. I found a small dime size cut on it’s back by the base of the wing. I separated it last night and when I checked this morning it was alert but still not standing. I have been giving it water from a dropper and it will peck food around it. I’m worried it may have broke a bone. Is there anything I can do for it or would it be best to put it down?

You can try setting it and keeping it alive long enough to cull for food, but that's all I've got. I don't baby birds that aren't ever going to have a good, normal life

Do you know how it got injured? If it isn't able to walk or eat on its own, I would cull. So sorry
