Chick wattles?

Heyo, my two chicks are 4 weeks old today. One seems to have its wattles starting to sprout, while the other only has slight bumps where the wattles will grow out. Is this an indication of one male and one female? Thanks

In some breeds females can get small wattlesyounger, so time will tell. Generally you watch for pink, than red combs by 5-7 weeks which usually indicates males in most breeds. Update in a couple of weeks.

I bought them sexed where they said they have a 90% accuracy rate. However, my chicks look so different from each other, I’m hoping it’s just individual variation between females
