Chick with leg paralysis

A silkie chick got stuck while hatching two days ago. He’s chirping and moving but can’t stand up. He lays flat on his belly with both legs under him. He can move his legs but can’t stand up. I’ve tried putting him in a sock in a cup so he’s sitting up with legs under him but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I was holding him with his legs dangling between my fingers and it seems he can’t feel one of his feet. Is there hope or should I cull him?

Unfortunately all my efforts failed and he passed away.
