    Hi everyone!
I just got three beautiful week(ish) old chicks in the mail today. They're all pretty healthy, eating, drinking, walking around, but one has got a weird "sticking out" vent. The other chicks aren't bothering with it, and it's pooping and eating normally. Should I try to push it back in and put some Prep H on it? Or should I just leave it alone? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'll have pictures up in just a few minutes. [IMG] It kind of looks like a prolapsed vent?

    I didn't see any pics.

I'm applying Prep H. I'm hoping the vasoconstrictor will take care of everything. I hope your chickie gets better soon!

I just wanted to add I've been doing Prep H twice a day, for the past two days, and today it looks WORLDS better. Not 100%, but it doesn't look so weird. Going to keep her isolated until she's fully recovered, but I have more hope!
