chicken age growth

    this is a basic question: at what age do chickens/ roosters stop maturing? (get to their adult age/ don't grow anymore)

    I think this can depend on various factors:

    Breed

    Sex

    Hormones

    Nutrition

    Kevin is very much correct.

    With two breeds I am watching very closely, the birds are a good 90% grown by 6 months but do not seem to be at maximum weight until a good 18 months old, possible a little more. This pattern is particularly evident in males.
