chicken art models needed

Hi everyone.

I'm a painter and working on a series of oil paintings of women with birds. I've just started a large piece of a woman holding two chickens -inspired by my recent chicken adventures! I would love to paint this from original references and thought it would be fun to ask around here.

Does anyone have any photos of their chickens or roosters from a front view with their heads turned to the side that they wouldn't mind me using for reference? If you do, post them as a comment and I'll choose two to paint in my piece. I'll obviously post photos of the finished painting on here though it's a big piece so will take a while to finish.

What breed are you looking for? I'd love to put up some pictures for you to use if you'd like, but I have so many of just about every colour of bird that it's hard to choose.

These are fantastic! Thanks so much. I'm open to all breeds and colours. I'm doing portraits of my own girls and was looking for a bit of variation for my larger pieces. I've only just started taking an interest in chickens since taking on the three that my boyfriend already had when I moved in. So I'm really just noticing how beautiful they are and how varied each breed can be. No one else has replied but to be honest I think I have what I need with your chicks! Put up as many as you want
