Chicken ate an egg!!!!

I have a Question. I found a cracked egg in the coop this mourning and laid it outside so i could clean. Well the chickens got to it. Now i am worried the chickens will start eating their eggs!!!

Has this happened to anyone, if so did the chickens start eating there own eggs?!!!

Chances are this will not affect your chickens! I have many times broken or cracked an egg while gathering, and when that happens, I lean down, break it open further and drop it on the ground. The chickens swoop in to fight over this treat of all treats, yet in years of doing this, I haven't had a single bird break open and eat eggs from the nest box.
