Chicken behavior...roo that is....

    My flock is 18 weeks old. I really didn't think that the roo would be so male yet. The hens haven't even started laying. So, is this the norm at this age? He is really lov'n the gals. Thanks....

    Most of them are early starters. He will eventually calm down - it may take quite a while.

    It's quite normal - the boys mature much faster than the girls.
