    Thanks! She's one of my Silver Laced Wyandottes I ordered from Ideal last year. She's one of my absolute favorites!

    You are exactly right! I ordered two Silver Laced Wyandottes last year from a commercial hatchery...so the true quality is just not there. The other SLW does have a rose come, and this one did not.

    Last year when I noticed the diference in the two combs, I posted asking if this single comb was possible. Once person said that "it can happen" but I really feel like it's because they are hatchery chicks...not from nice show stock.
