Thanks for the idea, I will make sure to do that.If you see a vet take in some fresh droppings for a fecal float. That would rule out worms and coccidiosis.

The sick chicken isn’t doing good, We will see if she survives. The vet said she has coccidiosis. We got treatment for the sick one and I am giving Corid to the other chickens in there water. Thanks for everyone that helped and shared there thoughts I will keep some of your suggestions in mind for future instances. Thanks for the idea, I will make sure to do that.

That was one of my suggestions in a previous post, although it is more common in younger chickens. Did the vet do a fecal float on some droppings to confirm coccidiosis? Corid dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days. You can give undiluted Corid 0.1 ml per pound orally once or twice a day as a boost. The sick chicken isn’t doing good, We will see if she survives. The vet said she has coccidiosis. Correct, the vet did some kind of test on the sick chickens feces and it came back that she had coccidiosis. I got a syringe that I am slowly giving her water mixed with the Corid solution. That was one of my suggestions in a previous post, although it is more common in younger chickens.
