I am getting chickens in a few weeks, and I was wondering what your thoughts are on the chickens that are listed below:
Barred Rock
Buff Orphington
Isa Brown
Black Australorp
Easter Egger or Ameracuana

They are ALL excellent chickens. How many are you going to get,??? and all as baby chicks??? or adult grown hens?
I am assuming you want egg production rather than meat birds. Do you have coop housing already available?..

Thank you!! We are going to get 10 chicks. We went egg production. We don't have coop housing available, but we have a plan, the materials, and will start in 2 weeks. We will probably get the chicks in 3.
