I have land I am not using, so I thought about a chicken co-op. I read about one where they got a small grant to purchase the initial birds and materials to build the chicken tractor and hen house. The volunteers take care of everything to do with the birds and they split the eggs. Another way I heard was to just assign sections of land and each individual had there own small flock. I don't know how I would do it and it is just a thought. I would like to some how make it so that a few people that don't have land or live in an area that doesn't allow chickens could enjoy this. There are probably a lot of problems I am not taking into consideration such as what if some one abandons their project etc. . Any one doing this? Any thoughts?
