Chicken Coop Litter/bedding

I just need some help with the litter/bedding in a chicken coop. Specific brands would be much appreciated!!

I use baled pine shavings intended for horse stalls. I don't think there is a brand name. They just come in a clear plastic bag. Almost all feed stores carry something similar.

I've always used the white plastic bale of premium shavings from the feed store that had a horse on the package. It said white on the side so I figured it was pine. This last time I bought the tsc brand of flake pine shavings and I like it better for the floor at least.

I use TSC large flake.

How much is the TSC bale? TSC is an hour + round trip from me.
My local feed store sells them for $6.50.

I also use pine shavings, bedding for horses, minimum 6 inches deep.

I'll add more as they compress, and clean it all out about every 12-18 months.

Unsure of the brand name.
