Chicken Crop

We have a young chicken "Debi" that has a large crop. We have massaged it but it is large everyday. She hunts mice and eats them. I am wondering if chickens have trouble digesting mice. She is eating and acting normal but I am worried about her. Can chickens digest mice? One of our chickens--maybe her-- threw up. She acts healthy but her crop is always full and massaging doesn't seem to work.

Feel the crop in the morning before out eating and foraging, it should empty every night. during the day when mine are out foraging their crops are always full. Do they have access to the dirt , if not they need to have grit to help them digest their food properly.
