the last couple of days I've let my 4 pullets & 5 chicks out in the big fenced back yard while i supervise. i enjoy the time alot & i can tell they do too. i hope i'm not making a mistake.
hubby & i trimmed the wings on the two rir chicks because they were flying up on the rabbit hutch & over the fence. nobody else can fly like that. they keep that up & they'll get eaten by some lucky predator.
