our baby Jade fell in the duck pond. I pulled her out pretty much unresponsive, drenched and cold. This was 4+ hours ago. Her head was not wet (So hoping there is no risk of aspiration issues). we have dried her and slowly, but consistently warmed her. She has stopped shivering, and is pecking when she wakes. I have given her very small amounts of water/food mush twice. She seems voracious, but I don’t want to make her sick, cause further issues. Should I withhold food and water, should I returm her to her siblings (safely blocked from the pond and in a sheltered/heated enclosure). Or should I keep her isolated and for how long

Ok. Thank you so much for responding. She is eating and drinking, warm and dry. She began panting so I removed her from the heat and put her on her regular flake bedding. She has water and water with chicken vitamins and electrolytes and food

One more question about Jade... she is off and on panting. She is inside in a shaded area. No drafts, but not hot either. Thermostat says 68. She’s on flake bedding over cement (garage). Her 3 siblings are with her. She is eating and drinking. I know she pooped a couple of times last night, not sure about this morning yet... I’m waiting on vet to return my call about getting her on antibiotics for possible aspiration pneumonia and am scared the panting may be related to that

Sorry, my actual question is, is there anything else I should be doing until I hear from vet
