Chicken for Adoption - what is she?

Sorry, I can't seem to save the picture so I'm stuck giving you a link.

This chicken is at our local animal shelter. We saw it there when we went to pick up our dog (who had escaped and gotten taken to the shelter)

Any experts know what kind of chicken that is? The shelter workers don't know if she is laying. It seems like a young pullet to me, what do you think?
