Hi I was wondering would a baby chick go into distress if I does not be around other chicks because what I hope is a she was the only one to hatch also if any body could sex it or figure out what it is that would be great thanks

Its to early to sex it,but chicks will go into stress if no company.And stress is death for chicks.

For now you can give her a small, stuffed animal to cuddle with. Also put a mirror where she can see it, she will think there is another chick. If you could get a couple more chicks around the same age, from some docile breed - that would be great.

Some "only" chicks tend to bond strongly with the humans in their life and end up making great house pets.

X4, chickens thrive on other chicken contact. They are social creatures and don't do well by themselves. You don't need tons more; just one or two will be perfect. Try and get one very soon so the one isn't alone and so that they don't get to the pecking order age. For now, hold, cuddle, play music for and talk to your little chick.

Thanks so much for the advice though I do have other chickens( I didnt hatch any) but im afraid the youngest(3 months) are too aggressive to be with her at this stage including the oldest male which is an aggressive bany roster since those all live together do you think I could integrate them in time?
