i love that garden idea!! my guys are so used to freeranging,but with our move we got neighbors. they dont mind the chickens,but they cant run around like they used to at our old house. i was thinking about planting something like that in their new run!! thanks for the visual!!!

You were doing great until the part about adding sand to kill off the grass, your chickens will take care of that in no time. They will also do the same to the garden.

That is a really great idea for a garden! I will have two runs so I can plant stuff like that in one while the other one is used, but it would be cool to have a small garden in the other one at times too. Thanks!
