Hi one of my chickens died yesterday and buried her this morning:,( she had a very poopy hind end. She seemed to not have any strength in her body and couldn’t or wouldn’t move. She’s a LH and has always been weak and stopped laying eggs about a month ago. I didn’t see any white or yellow on her tail feathers but it was MATTED with dried poop. Can some one please shed some light on this and help me protect the rest of my flock.

I would suspect an intestinal worm, if you really want to know you can send the body to a vet for a necropsy. Have any other chickens showed symptoms?

None of our black stars have but we started off with 3 leghorns and 1 died about a month ago (she was always weak when she was little). The one we currently have is pretty strong and is still laying. We started them on a 7 day corid prevention treatment yesterday. Would an internal worm affect my other LH? We always separated the 2 breeds so the blacks have had no contact with the LH

It is possible that a worm will spread, i would suggest cleaning out the coop very well. Corid was the right way to go, it will should kill the beginnings of a parasite should it be there.

Corid treats coccidia.....which is not a 'worm'.
Won't hurt them to be treated, but that might not even be the issue.
It's very hard to say what your bird died from without a necrospy.
Loose poops can be caused by many things.

So you had 2 LH die within the last month, were both "always weak when .... little"?
    How old were these birds?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?
How long was the last one "MATTED with dried poop."??
Did you remove poopy feathers to see what was under there?
    Could have been fly strike.

    Also....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
