Chicken hutching less eggs

Hello my chicken are hutching less eggs yet I've left them with many.Someone told me it is bad to touch there eggs is it true.Plz advice

All hens do not sit and hatch eggs. They have to be "broody" to accomplish that. You may be adding so many eggs, they can't possibly cover them - so they will be neglected and not hatch. Also if you don't have a rooster - your hens will not have fertile (hatchable) eggs.
