Chicken in the Kitchen

Would anyone be interested in some cute potholders? I made this yesteday from a vintage pattern. It's supposed to be barred, if you haven't guessed. I can make them in any color requested. I'm thinking of altering the comb template to make it look more rooster-ish and more hen-ish. I can make a male/female couple, if desired.

I'm also on the lookout for other vintage patterns. Some of the old stuff is just way too cute.

Yes, that's my best impression of one. I was hoping it would come out looking more barred, but the varigation in the yarn changes as you make the rows longer and alter the stiches.
