Chicken lethargic, eyes half-closed, not eating

Hi--Relatively new chicken owner here (about a year). One of our hens is not very responsive. Eyes half-closed all morning and she won't eat mealworms, usually her favorite treat. I don't know if it's related but there's also some sticky black goo on her comb. It's been in the humid 90s here for days. Could it be the heat?

Another unfortunate thing: we are leaving for a two-week trip tomorrow afternoon. The neighbors were going to take care of the chickens.
