I have a Cornish x a couple weeks old that just started limping. Checked for bumble foot but can't see anything. Chick has difficulty being up on its feet....it's hobbling around on its "knees". Anyone have any insight?

Meat birds can have leg bone deformities often, but I would try giving her some extra riboflavin (vitamin B2) in case she has a deficiency. Walking on hocks with curled under toes is typical of riboflavin deficiency. Most chick vitamins contain riboflavin except Poultry NutriDrench. Are you feeding a balanced fresh chick starter grower?

I'm a first timer with having chicks... How do I go about giving extra riboflavin? I'm using Dumor chick starter/grower feeding 12 hrs on, 12 hrs off.
