chicken lying on side, 2inch long white worm in poo

I found my 12 week old chicken summer limping badly one day and within two days it went from limping to sitting to lying on side despite arnica and metacam from vet. I also noticed two half dead 2" long thin white worms in her poo. she is loving lettuce but refusing to drink. The vet admitted that she doesnt knows much about chicken but ruled out any broken bones.I gave all five chicks BIG L de-wormer yesterday but since summer is not drinking much she hardly got any medicine in her system. Her eyes look fine (not the grey of Mareks disease), what else could it be and what shall I do. URGENT HELP NEEDED.

I don't think I've ever heard of Big L. But whatever you're using may not be working. If there's worms in the poo, the bird is overloaded. You have to worm asap with something else, right now, Wazine would be good since it sounds like round worms. And it's cheap.
