Chicken messed up neck!

Hello, recently my friends neighbors had a chicken with werid neck and dumped it a few blocks away. The chicken the next day then came back to there house and my friend (who has chickens) found it and is trying to nurse it back to health. The chicken stands in a werid position, curls its neck constantly, and is not eating. Does anyone know what is wrong with it and how to treat it? Please help!

Poor girl!
She most likely has wry neck. She needs vitamin E and selenium. Give her 400 IU vitamin E daily given orally, for the selenium you can just scramble her some eggs. Do this for a couple weeks.
Is she not eating or drinking because of her necks position?
