chicken+peacock=?

I'm thinking about getting a male peacock I'm afraid that it might try to mate with my hens. So I was thinking I could get a peafowl to keep it company but I'm not sure if you can eat peacock eggs and I cant let them hatch or I'd wind up with more peacocks then I can handle. So should I risk having my chickens laying a peachicken or get a female to and have a peacock farm? Can you eat peacock eggs? Would the peacock even want to mate my hens? So confused. Maybe I should get a goose nah. HELP
