Not really "art" so to say--just some fancy photos of my chickens and my coop! Anyone else take the time to do these type of things? [IMG] Please share if you do, so I don't feel quite so crazy.

A penciled photo of a Barred Rock (left) and Red Star (right) on a roost.

A penciled photo of my nest boxes and the chicken ramp that leads out to their run.

A framed photo of my Barred Rock Roo, and his frostbitten comb. Those -38 nights and his water splashing didn't mix well.

Holy Crow! The pencil drawings are fantastic! I used to do a lot of ink drawings of all sorts of things. Haven't in years.

    Excellent job!!!

Thanks! I should put a serious emphasis on the fact that they are photos, not drawings! I can draw, but I certainly didn't draw these. They are just photo effects, if you can take a photo--you can make them look just like that [IMG]

In retrospect, I'm realizing how misleading it can be "penciled photo". That's the name of the effect I used. I didn't actually pencil these. Yikes, sorry!

The penciled photos are neat effects. What program are you using?

Believe it or not, it's simply done with my phone. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a fairly potent editor on it, and allows you to really play around with your images quite a bit.
