This is my first batch of birds so any info would be great.
I have 4 birds that are 16 weeks and 2 at 12 weeks.
2 of my older birds have the pox so far(I think it is the dry kind) Is it too late to vaccinate the 2 younger birds(they all live together). Also how bad is the mortality rate?

Also now that I know my flock wasn't vaccinated at the hatchery, or given medicated feed; what other vaccines should I look into ASAP?

Thanks in advance

Vaccination will stop outbreaks in other birds.. As long as its the dry form your ok, couple of weeks and its over(per bird that is) The virus can be slow going through the flock. Birds are immune afterwards unless quail or canary pox comes along which there is no cross immunitity Iodine, Black Shoe Polish or the big Magic markers can be daubed on the scabs to help them heal quicker..I would only vaccinate for diseases that are prevalent in the area
