While watching my chickens I saw them form up in little groups and go off hunting. This seems to happen with chicks and juveniles when you have a good size flock. They all met up at the feeder to fill up for the day's quest and chicks join or leave as they come to other groups.

Hamburger - Silver Spangled Hamburg - Warrior Class
Giggy - buff orpington - cleric
Leopold - White bantam cochin - thief
Feathertail - Silver Phoenix - Paladin
Gaston - Blue Splash Cochin - Ranger

They headed off into the tall grass in search of prey.
