I have sewn lots of things but never chicken wear! LOL

I want to make some of those cute saddle things I have seen on some of your chickens.

I am pretty sure I could figure it out on my own but I want to check to see if any of you guys have a pattern.

    Thanks!

I just whipped up a saddle a little bit ago. It didn't take but 15 minutes, wow, easy! I didn't measure my hens, I just free-handed cut it out and the machine did the sewing. A tad big but I'll know next time to make one a bit smaller.

It is a reversable one too. Denim on the back and pretty polka dots on the front.

    LOL I am amused [IMG]

If you can get a copy of Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens to buy or borrow, there is a pattern on page 185.

I am going to make a few more and get them 'just right', then I am going to offer some up as prizes in these cool freebie/contest threads folks keep having.
